- Preheat an oven to 300 degrees F. In a 2-quart bowl, combine 3/4 cups cream of wheat or rice cereal, uncooked and a 1/2 cup dry powdered milk and mix well. Add 1 can of pumpkin (without spices or salt) and stir until doughy. Drop rounded teaspoon onto a lightly greased cookie sheet and bake for 15 to 20 minutes. To add style for use as gifts, roll out and cut with a cookie cutter or shape or use a pastry bag to pipe out shapes.

Whisk the two large eggs, 1/2 cup of canned pumpkin (without spices or salt) and 2 tbsp. natural-style peanut butter without additives in a separate bowl until smooth and creamy. Stir in the dry ingredients and add water as necessary to help make stiff but workable dough. Roll out the dough to a 1/2-inch thickness. Using a cookie cutter, cut into 1/2-inch shapes or cut into squares with a knife. Bake about 40 minutes until hard and crunchy.
